KICKSTART YOUR (R)EVOLUTION STRATEGY SESSION


UNDERSTANDING

  • The terms and conditions below apply to the KICKSTART YOUR (R)EVOLUTION STRATEGY SESSION (the "Strategy Session")  provided by Renée Janes-Reid via Renée Rising (the "Service Provider") to any individual (the "Client") and act as the contract for the Service to be provided.

  • In these terms,, “me” / “I” /"Renée"/Service Provider" means Renée Rising, and “you” / “your” / “yours” means you, the Client.

  • In return for the fees payable by the Client, the Service Provider agrees to provide the Strategy Session as described below and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in this document. The Client agrees to pay fees for the Strategy Session according to the terms and conditions set out below.

  • Both the Service Provider and the Client acknowledge and agree that they are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

  • Purchasing this Strategy Session from the Service Provider constitutes acceptance of these terms. These terms shall not be varied in any way whatsoever unless agreed in advance in writing by both parties.

SERVICE AND DELIVERABLES

The Strategy Session includes:

  • One (1) pre-session questionnaire, to be completed and submitted online by the Client to the Service Provider at least 12 hours prior to the scheduled session.

  • One (1) 3-hour, private strategy session ("Main Session") that will take place via Zoom video chat between the Service Provider and the Client.

  • One (1) 30-minute follow-up coaching call ("Follow-Up Call)  to be scheduled and used within 30 days of the Main session.

    • This call is forfeit if the 1:1 Session is not scheduled, cancelled, or otherwise not completed within 30 days of the Main Session unless otherwise agreed to in writing by the Service Provider.

  • Once the Main Session has been completed, the Strategy Session will be deemed delivered whether or not the Client submits the pre-session questionnaire and/or completes their follow-up call.

FEES

  • The fee for the Strategy Session will be charged in the amount of $500 CAD.

  • Full payment of the fee is due at the time of booking and is payable through credit card via Stripe. You can refer to their terms of use for more information.


EXPECTATIONS OF CLIENT

You, the Client:

  • Take full responsibility for entering your personal information correctly online, checking your email (including any junk or spam folders) for any correspondence you may receive from the Service Provider and responding if and as requested, and for noting the time zone you are booking in so as to avoid scheduling conflicts.

  • Will complete and submit the pre-session questionnaire as outlined above and attend the Main Session and follow-up call on time and ready to work together.

  • Will remain respectful of and open to ideas and feedback.

  • Are going be asked probing questions about your personal and professional goals and interests which you must be prepared to answer honestly and fully.

  • Take full responsibility for any actions, reporting, deadlines, or any other follow-through regarding what is discussed during the Main Session or provided on the follow-up coaching call process and understand that specific results are not implied or guaranteed as a result of the work done together before, during, or after the Main Session.

EXPECTATIONS OF SERVICE PROVIDER

I, the Service Provider:

  • Will respectfully listen to you, the Client, to understand your goals and desires and work within them as much as possible.

  • Will not provide information or advice that I do not believe in or that I would not personally follow.

  • Will not knowingly misrepresent my knowledge or expertise; will be transparent regarding my experience, education, and other qualifications.

  • Will honour all agreements with you including providing the services outlined in this document, contracts, scheduling, and assigned tasks.

  • Will hold all personal information and discussions with you in the strictest confidence, except where doing so may cause harm to others.

RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION, AND REFUNDS

  • The Strategy Session is scheduled online and confirmed via email, and these terms, this schedule, and confirmation are binding whether or not you reply to them specifically.

  • I will meet you via video chat at the scheduled start time to begin the Main Session. If you do not show up at the scheduled time, you will have 30 minutes after the scheduled start time to arrive or the Main Session and any fees paid will be forfeited.

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel the Main Session, please provide at least 24 hours written notice via email OR by cancelling online.

  • For cancellations, no refunds will be given unless 24 hours written notice via email has been given OR by cancelling online.

  • Only fees for a Main Session that has not taken place but which has been paid for will be returned; there are no refunds for a Main Session that was started and not concluded or a Main Session that has already occurred.

  • If Client is eligible for a refund, all monies that need to be returned will be done so via Stripe, less any fees charged by Stripe for transferring or processing.

  • In very exceptional circumstances, I may need to reschedule the Main Session; in these instances I will notify you in writing via email at least 24 hours in advance of the session and use reasonable means to provide a mutually satisfactory alternative time.


CONFIDENTIALITY

In order for us to work together with integrity, it’s important for us to agree to hold all of our conversations in strict confidence. Therefore, you and I agree to never share the following information with others, unless mutually agreed upon ahead of time:

  • Personal, financial or employment information, including earnings, goals, etc.

  • Proprietary business information or processes

  • Business strategies and techniques

  • Any recorded conversations, whether video, audio, or transcribed

  • Any documentation related to our session, such as pre- and post-session notes, questionnaires, task lists, templates, forms, worksheets, etc.

Confidential information does not include information that:

  • Is generally known to the public or within the Service Provider or Client's industry

  • I am required by law to disclose

DISCLAIMER

  • You, the Client, understand that no part of the Strategy Session is to be used as a substitute for professional advice by legal, financial, medical, or other qualified professionals and will seek independent professional guidance for such matters.

  • The plans, advice, ideas, and materials provided by me do not guarantee specific outcomes. You are an adult capable of and responsible for making your own decisions. You agree, therefore, to hold the Service Provider (Renée Janes-Reid and/or Renée Rising) free of any liability and responsibility from and against any and all suits, proceedings, claims, losses, and damages (including legal fees) for adverse reactions experienced as a result of any outcomes following the Strategy Session.

  • You have and accept sole responsibility for any decisions and actions you may or may not make before, during, or following the Strategy Session and Renée Rising accepts no liability for your actions.
